Greenwich Real Estate – Manhattan Neighborhood Overview

Greenwich Village is a neighborhood in central lower Manhattan around Washington Square Park. It is also known as the West Village or the Village. It is more upscale than the East Village. The village runs from Houston Street to 14th Street and 6th Avenue on the west and the Broadway on the east. The Village is neighborhood of Chelsea and Soho. New York University is in the Village. Washington Square Park divided south and north of the village. The park is a favorite for NYU students and local residents. Greenwich Village possesses of students, young adults, and families.
